UEFA Final
While the Union of European Football Association (UEFA) Championship may have been played in Lisbon, Portugal, Madrid was alive with energy as the city’s two teams, Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid, played for the title.
Fans and police flooded the streets in anticipation of the event – stores shut down, while vendors popped up on busy corners.
Ultimately, Real lifted the trophy, but not before many cheers, jeers and tears. Our reporters Bryan King, Danny Mortimer, Dylan Lewis, Ian Debevoise, Julia Moss and Maria Amasanti were there to capture it all.
